Revolutionizing Industrial Heat with Biomass-Gasification Technology

Catator is proud to be part of the CBE4I project, a groundbreaking biomass gasification initiative that aims to decarbonize the industry with a highly efficient, zero-emission, and zero-waste process heat supply

The CBE4I project, represents an innovative step forward in developing a fuel-flexible, biomass-gasification technology for a highly efficient, zero-emission, and zero-waste process heat supply.

The project is tailored to meet industry demands, providing heat for indirectly heated processes at all relevant temperature levels. It’s based on fixed-bed updraft gasification and can provide either solely heat or process heat and a clean product gas for use in gas burners for direct heating.

Project partners include BIOS Bioenergiesysteme GmbH, Polytechnik Luft- und Feuerungstechnik GmbH, Daikin Applied Europe SPA, Technische Universitaet Graz, Centro de Investigaciones Energeticas Medioambientales y Tecnologicas, ICL Europe Cooperatief UA, Universiteit Utrecht, and Wuppertal Institut fur Klima, Umwelt, Energie gGmbH.

Each partner brings unique expertise and contributions, making the CBE4I project a truly collaborative and innovative initiative.
