Welcome Mohsen Bayat Pour – New Senior Construction Researcher and Engineer at Catator
As the demand for more emission-free, compact, and efficient hydrogen catalysis continues to grow, Catator is strengthening its R&D capabilities with the addition of Mohsen Bayat Pour, who joins us as senior construction researcher and engineer.
Mohsen brings over 12 years of experience in mechanical, structural, and construction engineering, with a strong focus on sustainability. He is currently finalizing his PhD in engineering at Lund University, where his research focuses on heat transfer in structural materials, life cycle assessment, and AI-supported design methods for sustainable energy systems. His ability to bridge advance research with hands-on development makes him a valuable contributor to Catator’s mission of accelerating the green hydrogen economy and ensuring the long-term integrity and performance of our catalytic technologies.
At Catator, Mohsen leads structural and strength research to ensure that systems and components withstand operational loads and pressure. He provides technical leadership in thermal stress analysis to safeguard system integrity and advances construction methodologies with a focus on modularity, durability, and maintainability.
Mohsen provides guidance on fabrication techniques, including welding and machining, to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety and industry standards. In addition to supporting R&D through prototype design and iterative testing, he mentors junior engineers and works closely with suppliers and research partners to drive continuous improvement.
“Joining Catator represents an exciting opportunity to leverage my research and engineering expertise in delivering tangible solutions for green hydrogen technologies. From my very first weeks, I have been inspired by the team’s collaborative spirit and unwavering commitment to innovation. I particularly appreciate how Catator empowers engineers to pursue high-level R&D while maintaining a clear focus on sustainability and industrial applicability. It is immensely rewarding to contribute to projects that not only advance state-of-the-art catalytic technologies but also align with my passion for creating a cleaner, more energy-efficient, and sustainable future.", says Mohsen.
We are happy to have Mohsen onboard and look forward to working together to shape the future of green hydrogen solutions.
